Strategic Planning
By strategic planning, the Ministry of Justice of BiH introduces modern techniques of organizational management and defines priorities which are established by an organization in order to accomplish measurable goals.
The process of strategic planning has the aim to provide a systematic and sustainable access regarding the establishing of priorities, planning and allocation of resources, by securing connections between the strategic and operational plans, budget and the system for monitoring and evaluation.
Department for Strategic Planning and Aid Coordination ensures the professional-administrative support for writing of sectoral strategies (Bosnia and Herzegovina Justice Sector Reform Strategy) making of the institutional strategic plans (Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Justice for the period 2009 – 2011), making of the annual operational plans, provides support to the management of the Ministry in establishing of mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation of the results.
Proposals of the projects for technical and other assistance for strengthening the judiciary capacities and implementation of necessary reforms are constantly monitored and prepared in the competent sector. The Ministry has established a system of collecting, connecting and determining the priorities regarding the needs of institutions from the justice sector. Beside the regular donor coordination, the Ministry maintains the data base of the donor assistance for the justice sector.
